Fabulous post---I like the reference to housing markets popping up like credits cards at Christmas--just beautiful! I have been tracking the housing Tsunami in Northern Virginia. Cannot wait to it all crashes.

Anon:

Thanks for reading and I appreciate your comments. In regards to your Galileo comment, I think many Bubble bloggers are now being given a voice in the mainstream media. This even one year ago was not the case for many MSM outlets. If anything, many folks were being criticized when they were talking about the outrageous prices in technology stocks. Those that issued warnings were seen as party killers and bitter. Speculative bubbles have many components including economic and psychological.

Bozonian:

Thanks for catching that. A Freudian slip is always bound to happen without spell check! If anything I’m glad readers are digging deep into my posts.

Have a great weekend all!

Wow! This post is wonderful to read. I think your perspective of the housing market in 2006 is spot on. There are some significant triggers in ARM resets, inventory and sub-prime curtailment that should start to make headway this year.

I too am amazed that they categorized you in the "extreme" category). But then, you may recall that Galileo was hounded for going against conventional wisdom, and his instuments (telescope, etc.) were labelled as the mark of the devil!

Finally, I congratulate you on your excellent writing style. Keep up the good work.

Happy New Year!
