Thanks, that was really entertaining is a really sad way. The truth is that so many people don't see anything with that logic. Hmmm you're telling me the government can't just print their way out of this mess and that the markets have to fix themselves. I am willing to bet had they addressed the issues a year or two ago this would probably be about over by now, but no, that would make to much since to let the markets take care of themselves.

I love the Dr. HB avatar with the hood. Very cool!

I'd like to add this: It's amazing that Bernanke is just NOW realizing that low interest rates fuel inflation. He's finally decided not to lower them any further. Can you say "a dollar short and a day late." You think he would have figured this out BEFORE he became chairman of the Federal Reserve. DUH!

Funny, but not so funny when you realize that it's probably a very good approximation of what a real interview would sound like.

Folks, when will it be reasonable and acceptable to storm Washington and arrest them all? Try them for high treason. Waterboard them. Use attack dogs. Stress positions. Sleep deprivation. Mock executions. All these methods are legal! Let's use them on Congress, the White House, the Fed, and the Dept. of Justice. I am confident of a conviction of all concerned. And even if we don't get a conviction, who cares? We'll just ship them to Jordan for some real "intensive interrogation". And then we can just "disappear" them somewhere over the Atlantic like a few hundred Arabs who the CIA "lost".

Let's rise up, let's show them what...ooh, donuts. Mmm. Say what's on tv? Wow, is that a new plasma? 52 inch? Got any beer?....

Well Dr, looks like the Alt-A freight train is heading for that washed out bridge as you (and others) have predicted. Calculated Risk has an article outline drastic increases in delinquencies in ALL vintages. Alt-A loans from '07 are resetting far earlier than originally planned and heading to default at an alarming pace.

What makes me crazy is that the jokers trying to force this bailout through seem to have no clue as to the severity of the problem. WHO do they represent?
